Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of IndexPilot ("we", "us", "our"), including the website at indexpilot.app, the IndexPilot Chrome Extension, REST API, and all related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate and complete registration information.
  • You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and API keys.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You may register using email/password or via Google OAuth. When using Google OAuth, you authorize us to access your basic profile information (name, email, profile picture).

2. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Submit URLs that you do not own or have authorization to manage.
  • Use the Service to spam search engines or submit deceptive, malicious, or illegal content.
  • Attempt to circumvent rate limits, credit restrictions, or plan limitations.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service.
  • Use automated means to access the Service beyond the provided API, unless authorized.
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without written permission.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service.

3. Service Description

IndexPilot provides:

  • URL Submission: Submitting URLs to search engines (Google, Bing, Yandex, and others) via official APIs and the IndexNow protocol.
  • Index Status Checking: Checking whether URLs are indexed in Google using the URL Inspection API.
  • Automation: Rules for automatic URL submission based on triggers you configure.
  • CMS Integrations: WordPress and Shopify plugins for automatic submission on content publish.
  • Chrome Extension: Browser extension for one-click URL submission and index checking.
  • API Access: REST API for programmatic access to submission and checking features.

We do not guarantee that submitted URLs will be indexed by search engines. Indexing decisions are made solely by the respective search engines.

4. Plans, Credits, and Payments

  • Credit System: URL submissions consume credits (1 credit = 1 URL submitted to all selected engines). Credits are non-transferable.
  • Free Plan: Includes 25 credits/month, 1 site, basic features. No credit card required.
  • Paid Plans: Pro ($29/month) and Enterprise ($99/month) offer increased limits. See our pricing page for details.
  • Credit Purchases: Additional credits can be purchased as one-time packages via Stripe.
  • Billing: Subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. You can cancel at any time from your billing settings.
  • Refunds: Unused credits are non-refundable. Subscription refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis within 14 days of purchase.
  • Plan Changes: Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period.

5. API and Chrome Extension

  • API access is provided via API keys generated in your dashboard.
  • API keys should be kept confidential. We are not responsible for unauthorized use of your API keys.
  • The Chrome Extension stores your API key locally on your device using Chrome's storage API.
  • API rate limits apply based on your plan. Exceeding limits may result in temporary throttling.
  • We reserve the right to revoke API access for accounts that violate these Terms.

6. Google Search Console Integration

  • When you connect Google Search Console, you authorize our platform service account to access URL inspection and search analytics data for the sites you specify.
  • We use this data only to provide indexing services and display analytics within your dashboard.
  • You can disconnect Google Search Console at any time from your site settings.
  • Our use of Google data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy.

7. Intellectual Property

  • The Service, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by IndexPilot.
  • You retain ownership of the URLs and content you submit through the Service.
  • By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process and transmit your URLs to search engines as necessary to provide the Service.

8. Service Availability

  • We aim for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
  • We may perform maintenance with reasonable notice when possible.
  • We are not responsible for downtime caused by third-party services (search engine APIs, payment processors, etc.).

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, IndexPilot shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of revenue, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Account Termination

  • You may delete your account at any time by contacting us or from your Settings page.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in abuse, or fail to make required payments.
  • Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that URLs submitted through the Service will be indexed by any search engine.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a notice on the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before pursuing formal remedies.
